FAQ

What does HabitHash do?

HabitHash is a habit tracker designed around a simple insight: most habit apps make you anxious about a single missed day, then you abandon them after one slip. HabitHash counts your total completed days, your best week, and your trend — not your "current streak." Miss a day, the world keeps turning. Track the habit for 90 days, see your actual frequency, get insight.

How is HabitHash different from typical streak apps?

How do I add a habit?

Tap the + button → enter a name (e.g., "Read 20 minutes") → pick an emoji / color → choose target frequency (daily / weekly / specific weekdays) → Save. You can edit any habit later.

How do I mark a habit done?

From the main screen, tap the habit. The day's circle fills with the habit's color. Tap again to undo. That's the whole interaction.

Where are my habits stored?

All habits and completion records are stored only on your device via iOS encrypted standard storage. No account, no cloud, no server. Deleting the app permanently removes all data.

What's the free tier limit?

Free tier: 3 habits. Pro (¥600 one-time, $3.99): unlimited habits + custom emoji picker + weekly/monthly analytics export.

How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?

Open the app → Settings → tap Restore Purchases. Same Apple ID required.

Why no notifications by default?

Notification spam is the second reason most habit apps fail (after streak anxiety). HabitHash defaults to no notifications. You can enable a single daily reminder (e.g., 8 PM) per habit if you want.

Refund policy

App Store purchases are managed by Apple. To request a refund: Apple's standard refund process.
