Help, FAQ, and contact for Thankslate iOS — display saved payment QR codes, share cards, and create posters using local data.
Thankslate shows your tip jar QR codes on demand. Save your payment handles (PayPal, Venmo, WeChat Pay, Alipay, PayPay, LINE Pay, Cash App, Zelle, Revolut, Wise — 10 providers supported), and one tap opens the QR code at full screen. Hand the phone to a customer, friend, or tipper to scan.
Keep your saved payment methods in one place, switch between them, generate QR codes locally from payment links, and use card themes or poster layouts. Imported receive-code images are copied into the app; importing does not remove the original from Photos.
For WeChat / Alipay / PayPay / LINE Pay / Zelle, import your receive-code image from the provider's app (export QR → save to Photos → import in Thankslate). Thankslate displays your code; availability and payment processing are controlled by the provider.
All payment methods are stored only on your device. No account is required. No data is uploaded to any server. Payment methods and imported QR images are saved as local snapshots and separate image files in the app’s Application Support directory. Preferences and the one-time output trial use UserDefaults. The app does not provide cloud sync; device backups depend on your iOS settings.
Thankslate generates URL-based QR codes locally from your saved payment target. Imported receive codes and payment links can expire or change under the payment provider’s rules. Test your code with the provider and import a fresh code when needed.
The free tier supports one payment method, watermarked card/poster output, and a one-time trial of premium output. Thankslate Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited methods, all card themes, printable poster sizes, and watermark-free output. The purchase screen shows the current price for your App Store region.
Open the app → tap Settings → Restore Purchase, using the Apple ID that bought Thankslate Pro. The rename preserves the existing purchase, so you do not need to buy it again. Saved payment methods are separate from purchase restoration.
App Store purchases are managed by Apple. To request a refund, follow: Apple's standard refund process.
