PromptVault does not require a developer account and does not use developer-operated servers, analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. The developer does not receive your prompt text, tags, usage counts, purchase details, or camera images.
Your prompt library — including prompt titles, bodies, tags, usage counts, and app settings — is stored in PromptVault’s app container on your device. QR codes are generated on-device. When you scan a PromptVault QR code, the camera feed is processed on-device for code recognition; PromptVault does not save or upload camera images.
When iCloud is available for PromptVault, prompt-library data may be written to your private Apple iCloud key-value store so it can follow you to other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. This transfer is operated by Apple, not by a PromptVault server, and the developer cannot access your private iCloud contents.
You can control iCloud access in Apple’s device settings. Removing PromptVault from one device deletes that device’s local app container, but an iCloud copy may remain available to your other devices until it is removed through Apple’s iCloud controls or replaced by later sync data.
PromptVault uses Apple StoreKit to load product information, purchase the one-time Premium unlock, restore purchases, and verify entitlement status. Those requests are sent to Apple. PromptVault receives product and entitlement results, not your payment-card information. Apple’s privacy policy governs App Store purchase processing.
PromptVault does not sell or share your prompt library with the developer or third parties. A prompt leaves the app only when you deliberately copy it, share text, generate a QR code, or use Apple iCloud sync.
PromptVault is rated 4+. The developer does not knowingly collect personal data from children or other users.
